The formula for victory!

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”  Mark 11:22-24 Good morning! Recently I called a customer care number and told the executive who answered the call that I am no longer using the service as much and I feel that what I pay is much higher than what I actually use. I told him that I am planning to cancel my service. I was surprised to hear him say, “Okay, please stay on the line. Let me do the cancelation for you.” I remember calling the same customer care several months ago and asking them to cancel my account as I no longer had the adapter, without which I was not able to make calls. Immediately that person made arrangements to send a new adapter to me. He also told me that…

Ready for the healing?

He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."Exodus 15:26
March 27 is a special day in my life. Here is a quick recap of why it is special.
On March 27, 2011, I was admitted in a hospital in Nashville as I had a severe pain in my lower abdomen. The doctors told me that it could be due to cancer, kidney stones, bla bla… I was very shocked to hear that, as I was so far away from my family. Suddenly I felt like an orphan. I cried all day long. The doctors told me that the pain may come again anytime. But Jesus reminded me about this verse: Exodus 14:13. “Don't be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.”  To me, my Egyptian on that day was the pain. The world said that the pain ma…

Carry others' burden

Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
Everything went smooth for me for the past few days. Praise God. :)
Today due to some official issues at work, I was very upset. While returning to my home, I decided to stay on the bus until it reached its last stop rather than getting off at my own stop. I thought this would give me some break from my anxiety. My decision didn’t change until I saw 2 people get on the bus & sit in the front seat. While I was still feeling worried, I saw them and something attracted me to them & their conversation. You know what? They spoke in sign language to each other. Though I was not able to understand anything, I knew that they conversed on whatever they saw. I felt really ashamed to have dwelled so much on the same problem again and again which had already been resolved by God’s grace.
When looking at these 2 people, I realized how blessed I am. I also realized that no matter how much God bles…

Set aside!

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Good morning, friends.
For the past few days, I have been constantly thinking about my college days. It was the first time I was away from my family. I was homesick for the first few days in the hostel (dorm) after which God sent many girls to be my friends. Wow, we had such a fun time. But we also were very serious in one thing that really united us every day. It is Prayer. A few non-believers who joined us for the prayers simply because they liked the songs that we sang started believing Christ and came closer to Him. When I was down, they encouraged me with God’s Word.
Would you like to know how we prayed? Just because the Bible says about seeking Him in the morning, we got up at midnight to pray. Why did we choose 12 AM? Because it was the very first hour of the day. Does that sound silly? Well, it might be. But we chose that time and we set this…

Ask, Seek, Knock!

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7 : 7 – 8

Good morning, friends!
I read these stories long ago.
A little boy, on his way to his school every day, saw a Church. He didn’t know how to pray, so he simply went inside and knelt down and said to Jesus, “Hi Jesus! This is me, Jim.” This went on for many days. One day he didn’t come to Church. He was sick in the hospital. So Jesus went to him and said, “Hi Jim! This is me, Jesus!”
One more for you. :)
One little boy wanted a bicycle. So he wrote the following letter to God. “Jesus, I know I am not a good boy. But still I need a bicycle. Please give me one.” He realized that his letter would not convince God. He tore it up and wrote another one. This time, it was “Jesus, I will be a good boy going forward. I need a bicycle. Please give me one.” But he still was not co…

The Altar alters!!!

Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5 : 17
Good morning.
Recently I have been told about many unusual problems being faced by my family & my friends. Couples having issues with their marriages, diseases which scare everyone, young adults rebelling against their parents, being caught up by a suicidal spirit, etc.. The Bible says that Satan comes only to destroy like a roaring lion and he doesn’t know anything other than destruction. He is a wicked one who knows how to destroy everyone, no matter whether you’re in the Lord or in the world. There are plenty of tricks he can use to destroy the non-believers. They easily get caught in his cunning nets, whereas the believers cannot be destroyed that easily. So he plans so very cunningly to keep the praying ones from praying. He knows our weaknesses and how to keep us from praying. He distracts us with various matters and makes us lose our focus on God.

I am blessed by the Lord in every way possible. Each and every simple desire of my hea…
