Replace IT!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7

Hi friends,

Good morning. I many times wonder why I don’t change the subject to Monthly Word of God. :) I know our God is a God who speaks to our hearts all the time, not on a specific day and time.

I’m very happy. You know why? Because I have severe headache. :)  Wondering why this fellow is happy for headache? That’s because I got no sleep. It is 12.50 AM here in Nashville when I started typing this message. When King Ahasuerus got no sleep there came deliverance to the people of God. The next time when you roll over and over on your bed, thank God for He is going to bring deliverance to the you and your people. :)

This week is a busy week for me which starts with code review. I have no idea how it would go. I think I would have gotten this headache just because of that. But somehow I started to pray to God about everything the Lord reminded me of.

In the morning, I listened to a message from Pastor Jim of The Joy Church. He preached about replacing worry with ‘prayer and petition with thanksgiving.’ When Bible says something it really means it. Though I have many many questions about everything, as I started praying with thanksgiving, the peace of God rested on me. I don’t have understanding of how things are going to be alright, but God’s peace rested on me, because now I know I’ve surrendered almost all the things which bothered me a lot.

I thanked God for every person the Lord has brought into my life starting from my fellowships till the new people I’m meeting here in Nashville. As a friend I know many of their tough situations they go through. I prayed that God would meet all their needs and use them mightily. Now I have such a relaxed mind.

People of God, it’s easy to give thanks when we see positive things going on. But only God’s children can give thanks when nothing is going right. It’s only because we surrender our inabilities to our Omnipotent God. I am sure I would share many amazing testimonies when God answers every prayer.

Are you having something in your heart that still bothers you? Take a break for a few minutes and go somewhere where you find a place to pray. Just pray about the things which Lord reminds you about and come back with His peace. Strongly believe that you would see and hear wonderful breakthroughs in every area that you committed to Him. Please be reminded that you didn’t share all the burdens to any mortal man, but to the Living God because of whom you and I can face tomorrow.

Have a blessed week ahead!

  1. I believe that when we wakeup in the middle, that means God is expecting us to pray. The prayer that we pray during the midnigths are very powerful and I believe that God expects those prayers from Childrens like us who walks closely with Him.

I usually get up at 5 and then pray. But in the past 2 to 3 days I woke up at around 2 AM but I did not pray rather I drank water and then went to sleep. If that happens again I am not gonna sleep,I believe that God is awakening to pray.
So I believe that if we woke up at the middle lets go to His presense to hear from our Almighty.

    God Bless You

  2. Today only I came across ur blog and it helped me a lot.I had a lot of confusions and worries and ur experiences reminded me of the good deeds God has done to me.I feel very happy now.Thank u very much....

Hi Jency, welcome!!! Thanks for your comment. God is good! May your confusions be cleared by Him. Stay blessed.

  4. Dear sis, One thing that I learnt is to Praise GOD at all times, whether THE LORD answers my prayer or not. I started praising the LORD for all my unanswered prayers too, for I know DELAYS ARE NOT DENIALS!!!! Amen...

My pregnancy journey

I got married in Aug 2013, but never got to see positive Urine pregnancy test. NEVER! I won't say I was greatly disappointed as I was also waiting for few things between me and husband to settle down slowly and it took a while. Once things became alright everyone started expecting and wherever we went we got plenty of advice and tips. We were hesitant to take Sunday's classes due to the initial issues between us, but somehow for the past two years we have been teaching little children every Sunday.
In the meantime, we tried multiple doctors (no big treatments) and were bored with the same repetitive scans and tests, which reported no issues as such. The last scans taken in 2017 reported I had little harmless cysts and they would take time to resolve and the doctor would stop even the few tablets I had to take on 5 days at the start of my cycle. I would have to be honest here. My cycle - can vary from 26 days to 60 days too. You can hardly guess what my fertile days are, includ…

When love touches you!

Warm greetings!! I have been quite busy with my little one. Yes, I have been blessed with a baby girl after a wait of more than 3.5 years and she is 3 months old today, by the pure grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please keep her (Janice) in your prayers.
“Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.“ 1 Peter 1: 22
As I read this verse, this morning, I was carried away in my own thoughts as to how I can love from the depth of my heart. Is it even possible? Peter once behaved as an unfaithful one to Jesus to whom he was so close for about 3.5 years, when he denied Jesus to the core. He even cursed him as he was scared for his own life, and now it is quite funny to hear about deep love from such a person, by the way. J
After my baby girl was born, to be honest, I could not say if I really loved her. Because my mind was completely occupied by recovery, long days and nights, sleep deprivat…

Be Beautiful!!!

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13 : 16
This is a great story that I have read on the internet.

When the house lights dimmed and the concert was about to begin, the mother returned to her seat and discovered that her son was missing. She took him to the concert to show her appreciation toward his progress on the piano lessons. Suddenly, the curtains parted and spotlights focused on the impressive Steinway on stage. In horror, the mother saw her little boy sitting at the keyboard, innocently picking out “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.” At that moment, the great piano master made his entrance, quickly moved to the piano, and whispered in the boy’s ear, “Don’t quit, keep playing.” Then leaning over, Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began filling in a bass part. Soon his right arm reached around to the other side of the child and he added a running descant. Together, the old master and the young novice tra…
