"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Matthew 27:46
Jesus took all our sins on Him. From the sixth hour to the ninth hour, the darkness came all over the land. About the ninth hour Jesus cried aloud and said, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Have you ever seen God forsaking you? I haven’t. Because I would have gone to nothing if He has forsaken me, for it’s His grace and mercy that sustains me.
We see in Bible many times Jesus going and having an individual fellowship with God. Always He had a deep desire to speak to God. He rejoiced in the presence of Lord. But once He took all our sins, those sins created a very big wall in between Jesus and the Lord which Jesus could not bear at all. When others beat Him, spat Him and mocked at Him, He was silent. But once He was not able to see His Father’s face He was not able to be silent and out of His inability He cried unto the Lord.
What is the moral? Sin separates us from God. When you and I commit any sin, we’ll not be able to freely pray to Him and worship Him.
I’m a member of BOB forum which is for BusinessObjects tool. From my client machine, I opened google and in the search field I tried searching for BOB forum. For this I entered B and you know what? Immediately as the very first search result, I got Blue film.
Sin has taken its own place everywhere. We Christians may not see such films or kill or steal something, but Jesus very clearly says, “Are you angry on your brother? You’re sinning. When you look at a lady out of lust, you’re sinning?” How many of us will agree to record all our thoughts and show it to others if such a machine is available? It’s very important to see how our ‘thought life’ is. We can hide many things from others, but the Lord looks deep into our hearts. Nothing can be hidden from Him. The Psalmist says, “Search my heart, Lord.” Are we bold to say this to Him?
